We as a group have agreed that Information Technology on a social and ethical scale brings more bad effects then good.First of all it is the invasion of privacy. Millions of people around the globe key in personal details of their life into the world wide web everyday, without thinking of its consequences. In fact, our information carries value.Telemarketers can hack into various accounts, checking your bank balabnce and targetting you as a potential buyer. Then they proceed to badger and harress you to buy their prouducts. This is an example of mthings they can do to you. In fact they coild do worst things like perhaps steal your identity. Have you ever considered that a person , any person could hack into your e- mail account and read all your mail?Hackers arev able to hack into bank accounts or important files just to make money.Another negative activity widely done over the internet is the “pop up” icons. What are these pop up icons? Mostly advertisements and pornography websites. Since there is no age barrier towards th eusage of the net the ones who are easily influenced are pre-teens that is childrens within the age of 11- 15 years old.As we all know “ curiosity kills the cat” you can never tell that children will ignore colourfull and attractive advertisements. All these negetive effects just in one click.Such vulgarism and unethical behavior exposed to the chilren nowdays.All these is what leeds to social problem like teen- protitution and rape among teens.There is no moral values and these advertisements on the wibe makes one irratated, when you concentrating and keeping your eye like hawk on the work you are doing suddently out of the blues something just pop's up and distracts you. This is just so annoying.Illegal downloading also plays its own roles in the concern of IT.By downloading illegal movies, songs, games and more. It gives a very bad respons to the people who invented it. For an example, the flimdom industries. If everyone just just downloads song and movies, the producers and music directors don't earn the modal and the money they deserve from their hardwork.If downloading illegally from the net goes on further. In future , the chance to get quality movies would no longer exist.Nowadays, talking about bad impact of the IT would mostly root to the facts of copyright and infrigment which happens almost all part of the world. People tend to copyright music , articles, books which has been composed and published by illegal companies or co-opperations.They make use of this pathway to earn their money by selling copyrighted document illegally. Due to this scenario, the legal/origanal oweners lose their rights, business and have to face a lot of consequences toward their own poperties.As a conclusion, it could be said that IT on the whole bring a lot of negative influence and effects towards the current society

Uses and Implications of Email

Electronic mail or widely known as e-mail is method of writing, sending, receiving and saving messages over electronic communication systems.E-mail is something similar as sending message through our phone.the only differences is,in e-mail we can send larger files or information.We can use e-mail to exchange information.For example,in a college life students can exchange information in their projects or assignment.This is really helpful,especially for those who is staying apart.Besides that a student can ask and clarify their question by mailing o their lecturer anytime and anywhere. Compared to telephone calls, faxes, or over night courier service, Email is less expensive.As more and more computer users connect to the Internet from home computers, email replaces telephone calls and letters that used to keep family and friends in touch.Unlike telephone and face-to-face conversations, email conversations provide a built-in record of what we've asked for and what information we've received. By saving a copy of the messages we send, we can keep track of exactly what we asked for and when.

Everyone has their own way to organize their media player.Some of them arrange by albums.another some of them arrange by movies and alphabetical order. i arrange my songs in alphabetical order accoding to the song tittle.i listen to 7 type of songs,they are tamil,hindi,malayalam,telegu,english.malay and chinese.I arrange them into 7 different type of folder.this make my life more easier.i dun have to waste my time to search particular song in cd's and play it.This is another role of IT plays in my daily life...ha..ha..ha

Assignment 1: Wat do I miss the most without IT???

I would miss my hand phone the most, followed by internet. This is because without this two things in a teenagers life, it is a waste for them to be in this earth.Handphone will be my priority first because the fastest way to communicate with pupil anywhere and anytime. I can also use sms, video call to communicate. Beside that, there are so many types of hi–tech hand phones are sold in the market nowadays, with a lot of facilities such as media player, internet, Bluetooth, camera, video and many more. We can do so much of things by caring a small and light phone along with us. We can just Bluetooth or infrared any songs, picture or videos to our hand phone from other hand phone or through downloading from internet. In my opinion. can save my parents money by not buying camera or a mp3/mp4.
Internet also play a very important role in my life.I can use internet to find information,especially for my assignments.There are so many ways to communicate through internet for example friendster,e-mail,blog,msn and many more.Through friendster I can find for new friends and also keep in touch with my old friends at the same time.By using e-mail I can send or share my information with my friends form different hometown when we are doing assignment together without communicating personally.Besides that I can also do shopping,watching u-tube,check flight tickets and Showtime. I can also download latest movies or songs via internet.
